Dr. Pierre Woehl - Research Associate Corning European Technology Center France

Efficient Processing with Advanced Flow Reactor Technology

Dr. Woehl, originally from Strasbourg, France, graduated from Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon in France with a Master degree in Materials Science and a PhD in Fluid Mechanics from University of Strasbourg.

He joined Corning’s European Technology Center in 1999 as a scientist working on multiphase flow and reaction engineering in structured catalytic monolith reactors. He was a key participant in the early development of Advanced-Flow Reactor Technology at Corning and is now leading the Microchemical Engineering Research group for Advanced-Flow Reactors.

Dr. Woehl is a co-inventor of more than 15 patent applications in the field and author of 35+ journal and conference papers.
